Most recently, Carol served as Dalhousie University’s first Writer in Residence, where she led fiction-writing workshops and mentored students and faculty engaged in various writing projects. Besides teaching analytical writing at NSCAD, Carol has taught creative writing at the Great Blue Heron Writing Workshop at St. Francis Xavier University; SeaWords at the University of Prince Edward Island, and at other Maritime universities including Acadia and Mount Saint Vincent, as well as the Nova Scotia Community College.
